Alaska, the great frontier... We kept quite busy with a few activities, such as halibut fishing, crabbing, pulling shrimp pots, viewing a nearby glacier, checking out salmon streams, watching deer and bald eagles scavange the oceanfront property we stayed at, and cruising around the island sightseeing. And somehow we found time to relax, run a 5k 4th of July race, watch a parade, and taste the local hotspots. All in a weeks stay in Alaska...
